Ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup 26

The first phase of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup 26 will open with the Visa Presale Draw on Wednesday, September 10 at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) and will close on Friday, September 19 at the same time.

The registration period for the preferred Visa draw will begin next Wednesday, September 10 at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET)

Tickets for group stage matches will have an initial cost of 60 USD

Information on the following phases of ticket sales is now available

In a week, Visa cardholders who register for the preferred Visa draw will have the possibility to access the first phase of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup 26. This will be the first opportunity for fans to secure their place in the most anticipated edition of the FIFA World Cup of all time.

If they have not already done so, people interested in attending this historic event must create a FIFA ID at FIFA.com/tickets and register their interest. Upon completing this step, you will receive notifications about the ticket sales dates and the details of the purchase process.

The preferred Visa draw is subject to the Official Rules of the preferred Visa draw available at FIFA.com/boletos. Participants must be over 18 years of age and no payment is required to register or be a winner.

The moment fans register for the preferred Visa draw does not affect the chances of being selected. After a random selection process, the winners will receive an email notification from September 29. You will be assigned a date and time to purchase tickets (subject to availability). The time allocation period will begin on October 1. The fact of being selected in the draw does not guarantee the availability of tickets at the assigned time. Once the sale has started, tickets will be offered for individual matches for the 104 matches, as well as specific tickets by venue and by team.

The sale will start with tickets for the group stage available from 60 USD, an affordable option to live the World Cup dream. In contrast, the most exclusive seats for the final of the tournament - the definitive confrontation between the two best teams in the world to take the emblematic trophy of the FIFA World Cup 26 - will reach up to 6,730 USD.

Given the expected high demand, tickets for the FIFA World Cup 26 will go on sale in different phases. The preferential Visa draw marks the beginning of this process. In the coming months, new phases of ticket sales will be opened so that all football enthusiasts have the opportunity to be part of this historic tournament. Those who cannot participate in the preferred Visa draw, are not winners of the draw or want to acquire more tickets, will be able to do so in the following phases of sale.

The additional phases of ticket sales will begin in October of this year and will extend until the final of the tournament, which will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026:

2.ª phase: early draw of tickets scheduled for October 27 to 31. Similar to the first phase, it will include a registration period and then a random selection process. Winners will receive specific times to purchase tickets (subject to availability) between mid-November and early December.

3.ª phase: random selection draw that will begin shortly after the final draw of the FIFA World Cup 26. In this phase, fans will be able to request tickets for specific matches once most of the group stage matches are known.

Finally, in the stage closest to the tournament, the sale of remaining tickets will be enabled in order of arrival.

The purchase process may vary depending on the sale phase, the payment method and the type of ticket packages available. It is expected that, as the FIFA World Cup 26 approaches, new options will be made available, such as amateur tickets (designed for those who wish to sit with other fans of the same team) and conditional amateur tickets (to reserve a seat in case their selection moves to the direct elimination phase).

Likewise, later this year, FIFA will enable an official resale platform at FIFA.com/tickets so that ticket holders have a safe and reliable option. This initiative seeks to protect fans against unauthorized or illegal resale, and is subject to federal and local regulations. In Mexico, residents will be able to use the FIFA Ticket Exchange platform.

Fans can now buy hospitality packages that include tickets at FIFA.com/hospitality. FIFA recommends that you buy tickets through FIFA.com/boletos, the official and recommended source of tickets for the FIFA 26 World Cup. Hospitality packages and tickets from unofficial sales channels may not be valid.

La primera fase de venta de entradas para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 26 abrirá con el Sorteo de Preventa Visa el miércoles 10 de septiembre a las 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) y cerrará el viernes 19 de septiembre a la misma hora.

El periodo de registro para el sorteo preferente de Visa dará inicio el próximo miércoles 10 de septiembre a las 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) 

Los boletos para los partidos de la fase de grupos tendrán un costo inicial de 60 USD

Dentro de una semana, los tarjetahabientes Visa que se registren en el sorteo preferente de Visa tendrán la posibilidad de acceder a la primera fase de venta de boletos para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 26. Esta será la primera oportunidad para que los aficionados aseguren su lugar en la edición de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA más esperada de todos los tiempos.  

Si aún no lo han hecho, las personas interesadas en asistir a este histórico evento deberán crear un FIFA ID en FIFA.com/boletos y registrar su interés. Al completar este paso, recibirán notificaciones sobre las fechas de venta de boletos y los detalles del proceso de compra.

El sorteo preferente de Visa está sujeto a las Reglas Oficiales del sorteo preferente de Visa disponible en  FIFA.com/boletos. Los participantes deben ser mayores de 18 años y no se requiere hacer ningún pago para registrarse ni para resultar ganador.  

En el momento en la que los aficionados se registren para el sorteo preferente de Visa no afecta las probabilidades de quedar seleccionados. Tras un proceso de selección aleatoria, los ganadores recibirán una notificación por correo electrónico a partir del 29 de septiembre. Se les asignará una fecha y hora para adquirir boletos (sujetos a disponibilidad). El periodo de asignación de horarios dará inicio el 1 de octubre. El hecho de quedar seleccionado en el sorteo no garantiza la disponibilidad de boletos en el horario asignado. Una vez iniciada la venta, se ofrecerán boletos para partidos individuales para los 104 encuentros, así como boletos específicos por sede y por equipo.  

La venta dará inicio con boletos para la fase de grupos disponibles desde 60 USD, una opción accesible para vivir el sueño mundialista. En contraste, los asientos más exclusivos para la final del torneo —el enfrentamiento definitivo entre las dos mejores selecciones del mundo para llevarse el emblemático trofeo de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 26 — alcanzarán hasta los 6,730 USD.

Ante la gran demanda prevista, los boletos para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 26 se pondrán a la venta en distintas fases. El sorteo preferente de Visa marca el inicio de este proceso. En los próximos meses se abrirán nuevas fases de venta de boletos para que todos los apasionados por el fútbol tengan la oportunidad de formar parte de este histórico torneo. Quienes no puedan participar en el sorteo preferente de Visa, no resulten ganadores del sorteo o quieran adquirir más boletos, podrán hacerlo en las siguientes fases de venta.

Las fases adicionales de venta de boletos comenzarán en octubre de este año y se extenderán hasta la final del torneo, que se celebrará el domingo 19 de julio de 2026:

2.ª fase: sorteo anticipado de boletos previsto del 27 al 31 de octubre. De forma similar a la primera fase, incluirá un periodo de registro y luego un proceso de selección aleatoria. Los ganadores recibirán horarios específicos para comprar boletos (sujetos a disponibilidad) entre mediados de noviembre y principios de diciembre.  

3.ª fase: sorteo por selección aleatoria que iniciará poco después del sorteo final de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 26. En esta fase, los aficionados podrán solicitar boletos para partidos específicos una vez que se conozcan la mayoría de los enfrentamientos de la fase de grupos.  

Finalmente, en la etapa más cercana al torneo, se habilitará la venta de boletos restantes por orden de llegada.  

El proceso de compra puede variar según la fase de venta, el método de pago y el tipo de paquetes de boletos disponibles. Se espera que, conforme se acerque la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 26, se pongan a disposición nuevas opciones, como boletos de aficionado (pensados para quienes desean sentarse con otros seguidores del mismo equipo) y boletos condicionales de aficionado (para reservar un asiento en caso de que su selección pase a la fase de eliminación directa).  

Asimismo, más adelante este año, la FIFA habilitará una plataforma de reventa oficial en FIFA.com/boletos para que los titulares de boletos tengan una opción segura y confiable. Esta iniciativa busca proteger a la afición contra la reventa no autorizada o ilegal, y está sujeta a las regulaciones federales y locales. En México, los residentes podrán usar la plataforma de Intercambio de boletos de la FIFA.  

Los aficionados ya pueden comprar paquetes de hospitalityque incluyen boletos en FIFA.com/hospitality. La FIFA les recomienda comprar los boletos a través de FIFA.com/boletos la fuente oficial y recomendada de boletos para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 26. Los paquetes de hospitality y boletos procedentes de canales de venta no oficiales podrían no ser válidos.
