A new video taken 11 days before the fatal shooting shows Alex Pretti, 37 year old U.S. citizens, an intensive care nurse, yelling at federal immigration agents and kicking the back of one of their vehicles, breaking a taillight.

The video also shows an agent getting out of the vehicle, grabbing Pretti, and tackling him to the ground as witnesses yell, "Stop! Stop!" Meanwhile, other uniformed agents deploy what appears to be gas or smoke into the crowd.

At least three agents attempt to restrain Pretti, but he manages to break free and runs toward the people nearby, according to the video.

At one point, as he turns around, what appears to be a weapon is visible, concealed in the back of his belt. In the video, he does not appear to attempt to draw it.

Pretti was shot and killed by a Border Patrol agent in Minneapolis on Saturday, the city's second fatal shooting by a federal officer this month amid the Trump administration's crackdown on immigration in Minnesota.

The existence of body-camera video could help clarify some of the basic facts of the shooting and potentially serve as evidence in legal proceedings related to the weekend violence.

The fatal shooting of Pretti came 17 days after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shot Renée Nicole Good. Trump claimed Good "viciously ran over" ICE officer Jonathan Ross with his car, but videos recorded at the scene contradicted that assertion. Good's death sparked anti-ICE demonstrations in Minneapolis and other major U.S. cities.
