Florida's first dog ATM is in Coral Gables

TD Bank inaugurated the first 'Dog ATM' in the state of Florida at its Coral Gables branch. This device is designed exclusively for canine entertainment. Its main function is to dispense prizes.

The cashier incorporates a special mat in the shape of a paw print and a motion detector. When stepped on by the dog, the machine activates the delivery of a prize. And to increase interaction, the Dog ATM has motion sensors and audio adapted for the auditory sensitivity of canines.

The facility in Coral Gables, located at 2401 Ponce de Leon Blvd., is part of a broader expansion plan on the East Coast of the United States (the concept originally debuted in Philadelphia).
